TVersity contains support for album artwork, automatically detecting and displaying image files in the same folder as music files. TVersity only automatically detects and shows these image files if they’re in the JPEG image format and named correctly. Add artwork to a folder of music files by copying the artwork file and renaming it or by using Windows Media Player. TVersity doesn’t use a single piece of artwork for an entire folder, so you can have multiple different album artwork files for different albums, even if they’re in the same folder.

Instructions

  1. Manually

    • 1
Copy the JPEG artwork file to the destination music folder. If the file is in a different image format, right-click it, select “Edit” and use the “Save As” option in Microsoft Paint to save it as a JPEG file.
    • 2
Right-click the file and select “Rename.”
    • 3
Rename the file to “albumart.album name.jpg”, replacing “album name” with the name of the album the music files in the folder belong in.

    Windows Media Player

    • 1
Find the folder artwork image you want to use on your computer or on a website, right-click the image and select “Copy.”
    • 2
Open Windows Media Player from the Start menu and browse to the music album in the destination folder.
    • 3
Right-click the album and select “Paste Album Art.” You can also right-click the album and select “Find Album Info” to automatically download the album’s artwork and other information from the Internet.
