How to Convert a CorelDRAW File on a Mac

CorelDRAW is a drawing and design program with versions for Windows and Mac. CorelDRAW will convert and save files on a Mac in a variety of graphic image file formats, such as JPEG and GIF. In addition, you can save the file as a Corel Metafile Exchange, or CMF, file to open the image in other Corel applications.

  • CorelDRAW installed
    • 1
      Open the file to convert in CorelDRAW.

      Click the “File” option on the top taskbar in CorelDRAW and choose the “Save” option. The File Save box launches.

      Click the “Format” drop-down box and select the desired file type to convert the file. Click the “JPEG (*.jpg)” option to convert the drawing to a JPEG image, the “GIF (*.gif)” option to save the file as a GIF image, or select one of the other file formats.

      Type a name for the file in the “File Name” box.

      Click the “Save” button. The CorelDRAW file is converted and saved.
