Receipt books are essential to
keeping accurate business records, so that owners can pay their taxes
and keep track of earnings and expenditures. Every business owner should
keep a copy of his receipt book offsite, so that a fire, flood,
break-in or computer glitch won't wipe out the records. Make a copy of
your receipt book and keep it in a safe place, in a second location.
