How to Make Flame Text in Adobe Fireworks

,
“Fireworks” is an application developed by Adobe Systems and Macromedia. It is used for editing vector graphics. While not as powerful as Photoshop, it includes tools and functions similar to those found in other Adobe graphics programs. Text is added and manipulated within the Fireworks workspace using standard text-editing tools. Text layers can contain effects, filters and versatile layer styles. Flame text is created in Adobe Fireworks by adding a specific pattern fill to a text layer.

Instructions

    • 1
Select the “Text Editing” tool from the Fireworks toolbar and click within the workspace to create a text box.
    • 2
Type your desired text into the text box.
    • 3
Click on "Color Fill" in the Property Inspector window. Highlight "Fill Option" and select "Pattern" from the drop-down menu.
    • 4
Select "Solid" from the drop-down box at the top of the Pattern menu.
    • 5
Click the "Texture" drop-down box. Click on one of the available flame patterns from the list of textures.
