How to Make Lineart Work in MS Paint

,
Line art work consists entirely of straight and curved lines and does not include any shading. It is typically drawn on a blank background in a graphics software such as Microsoft Paint. Although line art is usually created with black lines, lines may also be drawn using other colors from the Paint Color box. Use the straight and curved line tools in Paint to create line art work of people or objects.

Instructions

    • 1
      Launch Paint on your computer.
    • 2
Click the "Line" or "Curve" tool in the Shapes group under the Home tab.
    • 3
Click the Size menu, then click the line thickness you want to use.
    • 4
Click the "Color 1" menu in the Colors group, then click the color that you want your lines to be.
    • 5
Drag the pointer across the document to draw a straight line using the "Line" tool. To draw a curved line using the "Curve" tool, first drag the pointer across the document to draw a straight line, then click on the line where you want it to curve. Drag the pointer to adjust the way the line curves.
    • 6
Repeat step five until you have completed your line art work.
