Instructions
- 1Connect your BlackBerry to your computer using the USB cable included with your device.
- 2Click the "Windows Explorer" icon in the taskbar at the bottom of your screen.
- 3Select "Organize" at the top-left corner of the window, then click "Folder and search options." This will open a new "Folder Options" window.
- 4Click the "View" tab at the top of the window, then click the box to the left of "Hide extensions for known file types" to remove the check mark.
- 5Click "Apply," then click OK." This will close the "Folder Options" window, but will leave the "Windows Explorer" window open.
- 6Click your BlackBerry from the list of folders on the left side of the window.
- 7Browse to the .thm file you want to modify, then click it once to select it.
- 8Press "Ctrl" and "C" to copy the file, browse to your computer desktop, then press "Ctrl" and "V" to paste the file. Leave the BlackBerry window open if you want to restore the modified .thm file to its original location.
- 9Right-click the file, then click "Rename."
- 10Delete the ".thm" portion of the file name, then replace it with ".jpg" and press "Enter" on your keyboard.
- 11Right-click the file, click "Open With" and select "Paint."
- 12Use the Paint tools in the ribbon at the top of the window to modify the image. For example, you could use the "Text" tool to add words to the image, or you could use the "Eraser" tool to erase portions off the image.
- 13Click the "Paint" tab at the top-left corner of the window, then click "Save As."
- 14Click inside the "File Name" field, add ".thm" to the end of the file name and click "Save."
