How to Put Subtitles to a VOB File

,
VOB files are the main audio and video contents on any playable DVD, stored in a DVD's Video_TS folder. Adding a subtitle file on your computer to a VOB requires using a conversion program that will re-encode your VOBs and output your video to a VOB or playable DVD file structure. Among the many programs with free trial versions, you may want to try ones such as DVD Flick or ConvertXtoDVD, which will add subtitles to your VOB file before converting to them to DVD format. Another option includes E.M. Total Video Converter, which will save your subtitled VOB file to VOB or DVD format, depending on your needs.

Instructions

Open your Web browser, visit DVD Flick's download page and click the "Download DVD Flick" button in the center of the screen. Double-click the program's ".exe" setup file when download has finished and follow the on-screen installation instructions. Accept the program's licensing terms and launch DVD Flick.
    • 2
Click the "Add Title" button in the top right corner of the screen to enter the Select Video File pop-up window. Navigate to the input VOB file on your computer, highlight its icon and click "Open."
    • 3
