How to Remove a Tray App Problem

When booting your computer, you might receive an error message warning that the "TrayApp.msi" file is missing and must be reinstalled. TrayApp.msi is a component of HP Photosmart Digital Imaging software, a program developed by Hewlett-Packard and supplied with some of the company's printers. You can fix this issue and repair your HP Photosmart Digital Imaging software installation by following a specific procedure.

      Click "Start." Select the "Control Panel" option.

      Select the "Uninstall a Program" link. Scroll down the list of programs until you see the "HP Photosmart Digital Imaging Software" entry.

      Click the "HP Photosmart Digital Imaging Software" entry and select "Uninstall/Modify" in the toolbar. Click "Next" and choose "Repair." Wait for the installer to finish repairing your installation and click "Finish."
