The PSP uses the .pbp file extension to store firmware data, fixed information allows the device to work. Changing the PSP file allows programmers to adjust the system for their own purposes, but can also render the device useless if done incorrectly.
Perl Builder File
- Perl is a general purpose, stable programming language that works on many different platforms, though it was originally developed for Unix. Perl programming utilities, such as Perl Builder and Perl Code Editor, save program source code and scripts in .PBP format.
PowerBASIC Project File
- Phoenix Visual Designer, produced by Prometheus Software, is a rapid application development, or RAD, environment made to work with the PowerBASIC Windows compiler. This self-contained product includes a code generator, code editor and advanced form designer, a WYSIWYG menu editor and automatic code updates when you make changes. This program and other PowerBASIC editors save PowerBASIC projects using the .pbp extension.
PlaybackPro Video Database File
- PlaybackPro is a Macintosh-based video editing application designed to provide greater flexibility than traditional video editing option. It can replace DVD players, video tape machines and digital disk recorders, reducing the expense and space required for professional editing. The program stores its database information using the proprietary .pbp extension.
