The DBE file format is an ActiveSync backup file format. ActiveSync is used to synchronize Windows Mobile-powered devices with your computer and Microsoft Outlook in just a few easy steps. If the files on your Windows Mobile device get corrupted and you have a DBE file, you can use ActiveSync to open the file and upload its contents to the device. You can also open a DBE file you received from someone else to transfer his files to your own mobile device.
