How to Change Color on a CDA-102

The Alpine CDE-102 and CDE-102ri in-dash car radios both support illumination, meaning you can change the colors of their buttons. Specifically, by adjusting the players' settings, you can modify the colors of the "Source," "BAND/TA," "Rewind" and "Fast Forward" buttons. Keep in mind that there are only four available colors: blue, green, amber and red.

     Press and hold the "Func/Setup" key to the right of the rotary dial for two seconds to activate the setup mode.

     Turn the rotary dial until you see the word "Illuminati" on your display screen, and press the "/II/ENT" button to select it.

     Rotate the dial to choose either Type1, Type2, Type3 or Type4, and then press and hold the "Func/Step" button for two seconds to save your settings.
