Blogger is a free blog publishing service originally created by Pyra Labs and later acquired by Google. When you upload a picture to Blogger, the default image size is set to a maximum of 400 pixels wide and 400 pixels high. If you have a larger photo and want to change the default image size, there is an easy way to do so.
Instructions
- 1Log in to your blogger account. At your account's dashboard, select "Layout." This will open a new page with a number of options. On some newer templates, the proper selection is "Design." Look near the top-left corner of the page and select "Edit HTML."
- 2Scroll down to the HTML box and select "Edit." This is the HTML code that dictates the appearance of your blog. Carefully scroll through the HTML, and look for a line of code that starts with "Blogger photo ID," which contains information about how to display your default picture.
- 3Look for the image dimensions within this string of code. To change your default picture size, change the dimensions in this section of the code to match that of your image. When you are done, select "Save," to save your changes.
