How to Fix Blurry Pictures on the RCA Home Theater P56740BG thumbnailThe RCA P56740BG home theater package includes a rear projection TV that you can use with your cable box, DVD player and video game console. If you have connected a device to the RCA P56740BG TV and are noticing that the picture quality is blurry or snowy, it may be due to a poor connection or a picture quality setting. You can use the TV's on-screen menu to adjust the picture settings and fix the blurry display.

      Switch to a different channel or a different source input to see if the blurry picture persists or is limited to a single program.

      Check the connections on the back of your RCA TV and the digital component that you are using. Make sure all cords are firmly plugged in and, if possible, replace cables to see if that resolves the blurry picture problem.

      Press the "MENU" button on the remote control. Use the arrow buttons to highlight "Picture Quality" from the main menu. Go to the "Picture Controls" submenu. Use the volume buttons to increase the Sharpness setting to the maximum level. Go back to the "Picture Quality" submenu and set the Video Noise Reduction option to "On."
