How to Open an NDS File

Nintendo DS (NDS) Game ROM files are self-contained virtual versions of video games for the Nintendo DS. NDS files are normally distributed as game cards. You can use the NDS file with a Nintendo DS emulator application on your computer to play DS games. Use an emulator to open and run the contents from the NDS file.

     Click "Start" and select "All Programs." Click the "Nintendo DS Emulator" entry in the list.

     Click the "File" button in the Emulator's menu bar and select "Open."

     Select the "Local Disk" option and open the folder that stores the NDS file. Click the NDS file and select "Open" to open the Nintendo DS game in the emulator.
