Files with the extension UT3 are Unreal Tournament 3 map files. Unreal Tournament 3 is a multiplayer first-person shooter released on the PC and PlayStation 3 in 2007, and the Xbox 360 in 2008. UT3 files contain data for the overall map layout, as well as object location, respawn points and triggered events. UT3 files are made with Unreal Engine 3 technology, one of the most popular licensed game engines.
