In the summer of 2011, Facebook
launched a video calling application called Skype Video calling and
Group Chat, allowing its users to virtually connect face to face in real
time. The application is free and easy to download onto your Facebook
account. The call sign refers to the call icon that appears in the
friend's chat menu and is made by downloading the application.

Log in to your Facebook account.

Type a backslash and the word "videocalling" into the url at the top of the screen. It should look like this: https://www.facebook.com/videocalling

Click on the button that asks you to "get started."

Choose a friend from the friend chat list that you want to video call. This creates the "call" sign in the chat menu.

Click on the camera icon in the chat box. This opens up the video screen and allows you to video chat.
