Make the hero in your life a keepsake book. He'll treasure the time you've put into it as well as the memories he'll be able to look back on. Your dad has done so much for you throughout the years, isn't it time for you to give back and do a little for him to say thanks?

Instructions

Things You'll Need

  • Photo album
  • Card stock
  • Pictures
  • Embellishments
  • Stickers
  • Pen
  • Glue
  • Tape
  • Scissors
    • 1
Sort through your photos and decide which ones you want to put on each page of your photo album. Decide on the embellishments, such as buttons, stickers, and movie or show tickets, you would like to go with them.
    • 2
Start with the first page of your scrapbook. Choose a color of card stock you would like for a background for your photo and glue the photo to it. Position the photo on the album page.
    • 3
Position the embellishments, making sure to leave a small space for writing. Move the embellishments around until you are satisfied with their position, then glue them down.
    • 4
Cut a piece from another sheet of card stock that will fit in the space you've left on your page for writing. Write on this about the photo, your thoughts about your dad or a special memory.
    • 5
Repeat this process for every page of the album for which you have photos. If you have more pages than photos, you can remove pages from most albums.
    • 6
Spark your dad's curiosity with an enticing cover, if your album allows for decorating the outside of the book. Be creative in your design.
