The online classifieds
directory Craigslist has become immensely popular in recent years.
Emulating the function of a classifieds section of a local paper but
taking it to a global, universally accessible scale, the site has filled
wallets, found friends and fostered relationships. Craigslist allows
users to post ads without being members, so it's incredibly easy to get
started. However, a successful ad on the site has to be eye-catching.
After you've written a catchy, informative title and a great
description, the next thing to do is attach an image to the post.
Instructions

1
Visit the Craigslist site and click on the link saying "post to classifieds." Follow through the following menus that let you place the ad in the appropriate location on the site.
-
2
Fill in the form that will be the text of your ad. Don't make the description too long, nor the title too obscure; you want people to know what you are offering.
-
3
Click the "Add/Edit Images" button at the bottom of the form. Doing so will bring up four upload slots.
-
4
Clicking the browse button will bring up a view of your computer's directory. Find the image on your hard drive and click OK. The image will begin uploading. Click continue.
-
5
Follow the rest of the prompts, and your post should now be on the site. It will take about 15 minutes for your ad to appear on the site. If it doesn't appear after 30 minutes, contact the Craigslist help team.
