How to Open ALX Files

ALX files are associated with BlackBerry smartphones and allow you to install software on your device. All BlackBerry devices come with the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software and a USB cable that allows you to add, edit and open ALX files from your computer and transfer them to your device.

     Connect your BlackBerry device to your computer using the USB cable.

     Double-click the BlackBerry Desktop Manager icon from your desktop.

     Double-click the Application Loader icon from the BlackBerry Desktop Manager window. The Application Loader Wizard launches.

     Click “Add.”

     Select the ALX file and click “Open.”
