How to Open a WRF File

Cisco's WebEx software is an online meeting system that includes the ability to record Web meetings. The meeting video files are saved in WRF format. This type of file can only be opened and played with Cisco's WebEx player, which is free to download and does not require a WebEx monthly subscription.

     Download the WebEx player from Cisco's WebEx website. Click on the installation MSI file to begin the installation.

     Click on "Next," and then agree to the terms and conditions of the installation. Click on "Next" twice more to begin the installation. Wait for the program to install.

     Click on the Windows Start menu, and then click on "All Programs." Open the "WebEx" folder. Click on "WebEx Player."

     Click on "File," and then select "Open." Select the WRX file and click "Open" again. Click the "Play" button to play the WebEx recording.
