Whenever you launch the Adobe Photoshop Elements application on your Mac computer, you are greeted with a welcome window screen as a "splash screen." While this screen is meant to welcome you to the application, it can become cumbersome to have to read the same thing every time you launch the program. Even though you cannot change what this splash screen says, you can change the splash screen's settings so that it no longer appears when you launch the Photoshop Elements application.
Instructions
- 1Click the "Finder" icon in the computer's dock, followed by the "Applications" folder icon. Double-click the "Photoshop Elements" application icon to launch the application.
- 2Click the arrow to the right of the "Start Up In" option in the bottom-left corner of the splash screen.
- 3Select the "Editor" option from the drop-down menu. Now, every time you launch the Photoshop Elements application, it will bypass the splash screen and go straight to the editor window.
