How Do I Load Text Styles in the Dimension Dialog Box in AutoCAD?

,

When editing drawings in AutoCAD, a professional computer-aided design application, you can sometimes improve visual clarity by assigning different styles to the text used for technical annotations. By using a dedicated tool within the program, you can import a preconfigured text style into AutoCAD and apply it to your current drawing.

Instructions

    • 1
Launch AutoCAD and open the file you want to edit.
    • 2
Open the "Tools" menu and select "Dimension Style Manager."
    • 3
Select the style whose text you wish to edit and click on the "Modify" button.
    • 4
      Open the "Text" tab.
    • 5
Click on the button next to the "Text Style" drop-down menu and select "Load."
    • 6
Locate the file that contains the text style on your hard drive and select "Open."
    • 7
      Click on the "OK" button.
