How to Render SPF Files in TextPad

An SPF file is a 2D-graphics file that is sometimes rendered in text. Using TextPad, a text editor for the Windows operating system, you can render (display) an SPF file in text form by opening it inside the editor. You can then view textual information for the graphic file, make any modifications desired, and save the file back to the same SPF format.

     Launch TextPad on your PC.

     Click "File" and then click "Open."

     Browse for the SPF file you wish to render. Click on the file; then click the "Open" button. The SPF graphic file should render in text form. You can now view or edit the file.

     Click "File" and then click "Save" to commit any changes to your SPF file. Close TextPad when you are finished. You have successfully rendered the SPF file in TextPad.
