Yahoo! Sports is a section of Yahoo!’s website that allows users to keep up with their favorite teams and participate in fantasy sports. Fantasy sports allow you to assemble imaginary sports teams, choosing players who do not necessarily play on the same team in real life. You compete against other members within your selected group, called a league, and your scores are based on the performance of your players in their most recent actual games. Because you may wish to compete in more than one league, you may desire more than one Yahoo! ID, with a different avatar for each.
Instructions
- 1Go to the Yahoo! registration page at edit.yahoo.com/registration. Fill out the provided form to create a new account.
- 2Go to sports.yahoo.com/fantasy. Look all the way to the right side of the page and scroll down until you see the box that says “fantasy games.” Choose the game with open registration that you wish to play.
- 3Follow the directions for your particular chosen sport to join a league and participate in a team draft. When you are finished, you will be returned to your Yahoo! Fantasy Sports homepage. Look at the upper left corner and click on the link that says, “hi, (your ID).”
- 4Hover over the box on the left side of the new page and click on “Add/Change your photo.” Select your desired avatar picture and confirm the change. Sign out of your Yahoo! account and repeat steps 1 through 4 to create as many accounts with as many avatars as you like.
