How to Open an ABA File

The ABA file that you have on your computer contains address book information from your Palm device. You can open it using the Palm Desktop software. This program allows you to store, sync and view your Palm device information, and it is freely available from the WebOS website. Once you download and install the program, you can import the ABA file to Palm Desktop and view the contact information within it.

     Open a Web browser window and go to the Palm Desktop Download Page.

     Click the "Download" link at the top of the window, then save the file to your computer.

     Double-click the downloaded Palm Desktop installation file, then follow the prompts to complete the installation. Launch Palm Desktop.

     Click "Address" at the left side of the window. Click "File" at the top of the window, then click "Import." Go to your ABA file, then click it once to highlight the file name.

     Click the "Import" button.
